Paint issues

After reading all your comments on the paint , I've been planning to leave my bike out in the sun for awhile. I figure with Ducati trying to rush the bikes out to us , the paint simply hasn't had the time to fully cure and harden. Hence letting it absorb some heat/bake will hopefully allow any remaining solvents to evaporate, and it'll harden.

If you're in the UK or somewhere else cold, could try same but for longer or instead put a heater near the bike (not too close!!)

Just my 2 cents worth

Sorry, but if I have to choose between riding the bike or watching paint dry, the bike wins every time ;)

Check out optimum opti-coat. Just applied yesterday, i've had great success with it in the past. If you don't put a tank protector on the opticoat will scratch up from your jacket but it will buff out and protect the paint beneath. It may be difficult to get a tank protector to adhere to opticoat.

I put this on everything. EVERYTHING.
