Does anyone have any tips on the appropriate front and rear suspension settings (for regular commuting) on a 2013 Panigale 1199, for a 5'7" 90kg male? (no weight loss jokes, folks). :D

Tell us what you don't like about your current settings, maybe some knowledgeable member here can help you. Otherwise, start with stock settings.

My Settings

After playing around with mine for weeks and months I asked some real suspension pros who have tracked the bike and rode on street equally, and this was the last setting i found for street riding that feels the best for me.

Im 5'10", 200+ lbs, and used to ride pretty hard on it-as this bike truly should be IMHO. But I don't like feeling every bump or pothole all the way up my spine rattling fillings out of my teeth just for the sake of having a hardcore race suspension setting!

So this is what I finally settled on, and adjusting it by minor increments is the way to doit instead of huge jumps in them. Again, only my opinion!

Hope its readable here?

Numbers on a screen do not translate to well to clicks on an adjuster for a different suspension.

The Marzocchi forks offer limited rebound adjusting so its a matter of trying to get the most out of them rather than find an optimal setting. Same with the rear shock.

All I've been able to do it get the most out of the rebound I can and adjust the compression to match. Its a loose setting but for commuting I don't have much issue with it. One day new internals will come and with that, actual adjust-ability. Novel concept, I know.

Shoot. I didnt read anything in the OPs thread opener about it being the original type of suspension components! Sorry about that, I guess I took it for granted it was the electrical type kind on his 1199? :(
