I've got an "S" and decided to install the Aero kit...Hmmmm...looks good...

Just wondering why many forum members on the Panigale Picture thread don't install the Aero Kit? Just curious though... It comes as standard on the "S" and Tricolore...

Just want some opinions...

Thanks,
Miguel

Personally I didn't like how it looked. It would be better if you couldn't see the lines so easily between the kit and the fairing. Just looks like a snap on piece afterthought to me. Hard to see the lines in the photos.

I have a white S model, and it came with the kit. I'm still on the fence as far as installing mine. I have to see what it looks like in white first.

I have the aero kit I personally think the aero kit looks Badass and I went faster on the straights

Best and clearest pics I've seen of the canards yet:)

You've got to admit, for a snap on piece it's a very good fit and could've been worse;)

I think if one thought the mirrors stuck out too far in relation to the fairing, these canards would take away from the focus of the mirrors and make everything look more in proportion.

Thanks:)

Yep. Mine still wrapped up in a box. Seems with these its all or nothing as you cant just remove them without jacking up the paint if you dont like em. Been offered $150 for them from gents here as thats going rate I guess.

Gunny, I thnk better to keep them for when you sell, worth more as a selling point I think. People like to get all the original gear with the bike.

Looks good! I'm keeping mine on....

Mine live in the original box in the basement. No me gusta el aero kit. I like the bike's slim profile without the "ground effects". :)

The wings make it look wide like a 1198 which is a georgeous bike but this is a whole new generation. Untill I learn that it will improve my ride, they can just stay wrapped up in the box.

Mine is sitting in a box as well. It does seem like S owners don't like running them and base owners can't get enough of them.

Mine are still in the original packaging as well. I was warned by my dealer that other Panigale owners have complained to them about the kit scratching the paint. Based on Gunny's comment it seems this may be the case if you decide to remove them.

ETA: I will be selling mine if anyone is interested.

Maybe I have not see many Panigale first hand, but what am I looking for to identify this aero kit?

I think I got it. Its the longer spoiler under the lights right. If that's it I think it looks better with out. Its too square for the Panigale.
