Panigale crash

There was ample time to react to this easily avoidable incident imo. A little anticipation, applying a little more of those great big Brembo brakes and not trying to ride in such a small gap and this rider would still have their bike. The rider must be blind?

He didn't get up right away. Injured badly?

Sending up a prayer for him/her. (Better than mocking their pain, eh?)

Based on the evidence the camera will provide, I think it's high time the rest of us camera-less riders mount one or more cameras. Could be more than worth the $$ spent.

Gotta go with this one. I hate to see anyone get hurt, but that was 12 shades of stupid. That would make a nice clip for a rider training video - "what NOT to do when riding in traffic." Hope the rider takes a lesson from it and is thankful it wasn't worse. Slight timing shift on where those light poles are and it's lights out - permanently.
 
Sorry but WTF was he thinking undertaking that car into an ever decreasing gap with only the kerb and the car to squeeze between. Poor observational skills in my opinion.
 
This is a case of ambition outweighing common sense I'm afraid:(
 
Ouch....ya that sucks. But yes, that is easily avoidable by either of the above comments. I mean he could've just went in to the left lane. Shoulda just slowed the f down once he saw the van pull out. Lack of experience/distracted? Maybe....who knows.

Then he hits the ground"¦omg"¦sit up you crying ..... If its broken its broken, At that point endorphins have taken over and he is just laying there being a bitch. Man up and stand up, ...no riding ass.

The problem is you can't fix stupid, it's amazing that person has lived this long. He reminds me of the dog in the joke, the one with the flat head from chaseing parked cars.
