pictures of my base model with added carbon extras 1 week old now no probs whatsoever (understand heat issues in hot climates but not a problem here in the uk) loving every single moment i ride it even if its mainly commuting at the moment

Commuting on a Panigale - you lucky chap :p

Base wheels look so much better in real pics, its a damn fine ride :):)

I commute on mine several times a week as I need to get the miles up before I let it loose on track. Its a tough job, but someone has to do it. :D

The bike is still rare and mine is the only one on the road in Jersey. Given all the media attention around the launch its funny to watch people do double takes as they realise what it is. You don't see this going on behind you when you're out for a Sunday blast. One bloke out walking his dog even walked into a wall while rubber necking the bike, I nearly wet myself laughing. It all just adds to joy of the Panigale experience.

Where can you get the do tail tidy? Pro Italia don't have them. Anyone has a part number?

First Ride

Just picked up my Tri yesterday and did a 300 miles run to Pikes Peak and took a few iPhone picks. 80 degrees at the base and @32 degrees at the top :D
The dash showed "ICE"
You can see the snow in the background on the 3rd picture and that's in direct sun light.

Kingfixer, are those Stomp Pads specific for the 1199? If so, where did you get the from? I could not find them on line when I last looked.

A defo fit for me, I have had them on my lasts three bikes and boy they make a difference. Not only that they protect the tank for when it is time to sell.

We gotta ride sometime. Today I took mine from Denver up to Estes Park, Peak to Peak highway, down through Nederland, through Boulder, and back to Denver. Got stuck in some rain/hail, so I got to test out the WET mode, but overall very fun. 200 miles down 400 to go!:D

The were quoted as being 1199 stop grips but when they turned up they had Monster pads written on the packaging, you actually get 2 pads for each side 1 large 1 small, fitted them anyway as they were actually somewhere near for fitting. I usually use teck spec pads but none available for the 1199 yet. Im sure it was demontweeks.
