I'm so frustrated I couldn't short Tesla. It's now at half it's peak and continues to fall. This puts Putin back as the richest man in the world. Go Fat Donnie go, punish those who voted for you. You've done in medicaid. Social Security next? Medicare? Let them starve in the streets. F**k the poor, Elon needs a bigger, longer compensatory rocket. Oh yeah how about cancelling all those fat military pensions. Go Fat Donnie go, collapse the world economy.
 
I understand that MAGA loves to “own the libs”. It’s been great fun thinking you’ve got one over on your boss or whoever they think has been looking down on them for their entire lives. But I would hope they’re starting to have a sneaky feeling that this time around, it’s not looking like what they expected. MAGA can still find a few acorns to wave around, but they don’t feel so special. It should be dawning on them that their red MAGA hat isn’t going to protect them from the job cuts and sinking financial markets. The whole world has decided that America is too unstable to be relied on as the leader of the free world. It was fun complaining about Europe not paying its fair share for defense. When our defense budget is 900 billion, and we have a 2 trillion dollar deficit, who do you think is really paying for our military? For the MAGA folks who didn’t pay attention in math or economics class, it’s mainly foreign investment that buys our T-bills and pays for our defense. Of course Trump fails to explain that to his MAGA base. What’s going to happen when Europe stops loaning us the money for “our” military, and starts spending it on their own military as Trump has suggested? What’s the genius going to do when Europe wants its money back? We’re not going to have the Biden recession, it will be the Trump bankruptcy, which he is very familiar with. It was a good grudge to drag around and throw it in the lib’s faces every now and then. But now it’s getting real. I doubt many of our MAGA friends took the time to understand how the western monetary system operates. I seriously doubt they ever pondered who finances America’s deficit spending when our budget never balances? Come on MAGA, explain how it is that America can continually print money out of thin air, and other countries can’t? Give us a smart ass answer that confirms you don’t know. Why is the dollar the world’s reserve currency? What happens when the rest of the world is sick of us acting like…. MAGA?
When are you Trump lovers going to figure out that he doesn’t care anything about you or the libs. It won’t be Trump’s big beautiful tariffs that close your Ducati dealer. It’s the chaos that follows Trump like his bad breath. How safe is your business to his insanity? Sorry, the world is more complicated than one of your cutesy MAGA bumper stickers.

Actually, it's not so easy and the location of an IP address is easily faked. Elon also didn't say if the location was in occupied areas of Ukraine. It's very convenient though for Trump and his ally, Putin.

Anything that comes out of Lavrov's mouth is probably exactly the opposite of the truth.

It wasn't a 'special military operation to protect' - it was the first part of an invasion (by those 'little green men' who were absolutely not from Russia according to Putin at the time).

It seems that some people are so discouraged by the crap leadership that's been in the West for so long that they automatically believe the other side if it's against their own Governments. Both the US and Russia have been meddling in Ukraine (and other places) for as long as I can remember. Ukraine are stuck in the middle and desperately trying to fight against an invader to maintain their sovereignty and they have been betrayed by their supposed allies, despite having blindly supported those same 'allies' in the past.

Neither side come out of this well and Ukrainians are stuck in the middle and paying the price, while Trump and Putin do their best to destroy and asset-strip the country.
