I want one to. I buy what I want. If the Wife ever has an issue.......she'll get over it. I don't tell her what to spend her money on.

First Outing with the Panigale: The Jury is Still Out

Took the Panigale on its first outing this past weekend and the Jury is still out ... I will be able to determine more after the first service and I can really release the BEAST. So far a great bike though.

The Good:
It loves the corners
Very light and flickable (Agile)
All types of goodies to really set the bike up proper
Sound is incredible
It hates to be driven slow
Track is written all over this bike
Brakes are Nice!
Tires (need more testing on the track)
Speed (need more testing after break-in period)
Very Narrow but comfortable

The Bad:
The SEAT !!!
The HEAT !!!
Hard to work on (any maintenance or work takes forever)

Still plenty of testing to perform

(Here's a few pics of the first outing)

Repsol and Panigale comparison

A few things I noticed when taking a peak at both bikes ... the CBR1000 fireblade is a great bike .. one of the best I've had the privilege of riding. Maybe even lighter and more agile than any bike I've threw a leg over, including the 1199.

Im really blessed to have both of these bikes in my stock. I got rid of the 749 to get the 1199 :( , I will always remember you ole great one.
