Been meaning to do a more regular update on this thread, but one thing led to another, so here's a little bit of a data dump:

Camping in Pisa:

Orvieto:

en Route to Firenze:

Great pictures, when are you hoping to reach the UK? The offer still stands if you want to stop over.

Due to the 3 week delay I spent waiting for my bike to clear customs, I'm now maximizing my Shengen visa before heading to the UK. So it's looking like England/Scotland/Ireland just in time for the good weather (Mid/late Oct.).

Ok, once you hit UK shores, give me a call. I will PM my contact details to you. Enjoy the ride.

Love this pic Dennis.

An almost idealized portrait of Italian country side. The trees, the olive grove, the villa off on a hill and the overall lushness - like it was pulled off some Titian masterpiece.

Was telling Scorpio yesterday in a break on our Sunday ride that I've always wanted to see Italy. This pic just makes it even more imperative.

Nicely done!

Charlie, you have to, it's in the bucket list ;-)

Dennis.... how is your bike NEVER dirty? I ride mine down the driveway and it gets dirty!!

Oh it's dirty. Trust me. If you saw it in person you'd think I never wash it because I almost never do. What I do do will horrify most: Gas Station Squeegie on the front fairing, followed by some stiff paper towel action.

For more photos of Italy (and Austria...and soon to be a bunch of other countries once I upload 'em all), check out my 'Round the World' Ride Report right here on ducati1199.com:

Or check me out on Instagram for some real Panigale Porn!

Both are in my sig below.

I think if you click on the pic it'll take you to Smugmug, where you can buy a print and have it shipped direct. Then you can stick it on a wall so that the compulsion to go to Italy finally gets so bad you can't take it anymore....
