After seeing Chaz riding that bike up close at Laguna, I have no desire to ride it, it looks and sounds like it wants to kill someone! When he would come through the corkscrew and get on the gas hard at the bottom heading towards Rainey Curve, it was the most brutal acceleration I've ever seen short of a MotoGP bike. No thanks, I can barely ride MY bike, and it has probably 30-40 fewer HP.

I was at the hospitality suite for the Laguna WSBK race after the start finish bridge and the transition into and out of turn 1 is ridiculous and how deep and hard they brake for turn 2 was nothing short of impressive.

Also like how they lift their ..... out of the seat on purpose before the little bump after 1. The Ducati by far looked like it was the most out of control and on the edge. The Kawi looked the most planted followed by then Honda/Aprilia

I don't think the exhaust in the article is the one they're currently running - with the periscope. I imagine they're being fairly tight-lipped about that system....

watching a motorbike race at laguna is definitely a sight to see. and I can imagine it as one of the most technical tracks on the circuit, with almost no straights, steep elevation changes...

Laguna is definitely one of the best spectator tracks to view a race, but it's shockingly the most repetitive, easy-to-learn track I've ever been on. Other than the corkscrew and turn one (which is frightening at speed), it's pretty much just a bunch of short straights and drive-in-your-sleep 90 degree turns.
