Panigale v2 turn signal switch

Hi, bought a used panigale v2 2021. The bike apparently came with the signal switched. This means that if I signal left the two right (front and back) blinker turns on and vice versa. It is now past the warranty and the last owner just kind of gotten used to it. I was wonder what is the easiest way to fix this. The back turn signal are easy but the front seem to require to re run the wires. Hoping there is an easier fix to this. Any suggestion is welcomed.

The wires are typically labeled SX for left and DX for right. If that's the problem, then that's the solution. It seems like a pretty big oversight that someone would mess that up then just choose to live with it, but you never know.

Thank you for the reply. My question is there an easier way than unplugging the turn signal at the light in the front and cutting all the zipties all the way to the seat(or wherever the left and right intersect) and basically rewiring it to the other side. example is if there is a plug right under the seat I can just switch or if anyone know where exactly the two intersect( and if there is a joint there I can just switch).

What bp suggested is the easiest way to correct this. Someone switched the plugs that go into the lights. They usually run in a common bundled wire that splits into L (SX) and R (DX). Trace the wires and revert them to the right way.

I guess also double check that your L control switch isn’t flipped upside down too. Or that the wires there haven’t been flipped

IIRC, the left and right branch off of the main harness very close to the plugs at the signals. I doubt you’d be cutting any zip ties, but either way you need to remove some fairings and inspect.

Removing the fairings and tracing the wires is not that scary. The V2 fairings are very precise fit, and taking them off and putting them back on is easy. Zip ties are cheap. You may even enjoy it.
