Hi, bought -22 V4 during winter. Forks were adjusted so that 2mm of fork tube was visible. Cannot find information of what is stock height; some source says that -22 model should have 4mm of tube visible. Adjusting 2mm lower is quite a lot, so could someone here confirm correct stock settings? I’m riding only on track and bike feels planted but also a bit slow to turn.

My ‘21 was flush at the top. I’ve finally replaced the rear spring and set the bike up “better”, but not done yet. I’ve raised the forks to 3mm above and it turns much better at speed and is more neutral at slower speed. I think it needs a bit lower front or raised rear yet.

Call the dealer and ask?

Normally people raise them at 5-6mm but all depends on rear spring and pivot

Thanks all! Most likely that 2mm showing is a stock setting for -23/-23 models. V4S may be different (ohlins). I`ll wait until I get confirmation from local Ducati service, before putting all parts back together again. No hurry any more, since forecast for a weekend is so bad, that I skip scheduled track days :-/
I have TTX as a rear shock and will start to search improvements as small steps, raising rear 1mm as a first action. A bike is as it is already very good.

As an attachment is a stock fork height spec I got from service. Adjusting forks according to that gives 2mm fork showing.

This is from the 23 V4R manual which uses the same NPX25/35 as the V4S minus the EC2 electronics at the top. Looks like the S/R forks are 4 mm longer than the Showa. Now to see if the dealer installed mine at the correct height…
