Just like the DP levers. They're made from Twm. You can get the exact same ones from twm for less than half the price. Just doesn't say ducati on it.

Jarelj, is reverse shifting (upside down) possible with standard rearsets (V4s)? Will I need some extra parts?

Thank`s.

99% sure you can do reverse shift with the OEM DQS sensor on the V4, I remember that from chatting with the engineer at the dealer meeting, there's just a 1% chance that I dreamed it and it didn't really happen......

Does that mean we can just request the dealer to change the pattern to GP right off the bat no extra parts?

I believe so, I will confirm 100% as soon as there's a bike sitting here. But what I recall from looking at it at the dealer meeting was the shift pedal has a pivot in the middle, and an attachment point for the DQS sensor rod both above and below the pivot. If that's the case, the rod can just be flipped to the other position and PRESTO you have GP shift with DQS.

The full Akra EVO exhaust for the 1199/1299 was available for just over £2,300. When Ducati promoted Akra to the DP range it jumped to £3,700 from UK dealers.

Looked at the full system price for the V4, £4,270. I honestly think they pick the numbers out of the air, that's obscene IMO.

Lol I'm not one to usually opt for the exhaust upgrade, I've had 8 Ducatis and have had a full system on only one of them.
The full Akra for the V4 seems impressive for what it produces so I inquired about it.

$4770 full system
$690 for 6 hrs labor ugh... And its not like old systems that come with there own chip. The Duc shop has to upload the software that is associated with your VIN.

Sounds like it would be difficult to resell as a result.

I'm not sure if you planning on getting the V4 or the V4S but the cost of that exhaust is about the difference in price, I know what I would be doing... :)

I asked the same of the guy that uploaded the below vid to youtube, he said no additional parts needed to change to reverse shift.

That is awesome news, that's usually the first thing I buy (reverse QS link) and first adjustment I make on any bike .

What an awesome track day he was having too, that R1 had no chance lol. (J/K I know track day worriors don't prove anything)

Likewise. Earlier I'd been examining all the high res pics I could find showing the shifter, to see if reverse pattern was easily doable.

When the manufacturer takes the time to design a shifter that can be easily reversed, it says a lot about the care they've taken in the details. All part of a good design process. It seems a little thing, but means a lot to those of us that have reverse pattern ingrained due to racing or just preference.
