Likewise. Earlier I'd been examining all the high res pics I could find showing the shifter, to see if reverse pattern was easily doable.

When the manufacturer takes the time to design a shifter that can be easily reversed, it says a lot about the care they've taken in the details. All part of a good design process. It seems a little thing, but means a lot to those of us that have reverse pattern ingrained due to racing or just preference.

Exactly!! And though it may have been possible in the past, the QS feature wouldn't work.

I felt ripped off when I was forced to drop $400+ on essentially a rod to make my original Panigale GP shift lol.

So if this proves to be true then...that money can go towards adjustable rearsets or at least "grippier" foor pegs haha. Folding levers and such.

Back to OP's subject... Just an update. DP carbon front mudguard in, race windscreen in, carbon tank cover in, belly pan for race exhaust in, bike cover in, sticker set in (I'm painting the bike).

Waiting for other DP parts but a good start.

Doesnt the S version come with Carbon fiber front fender?

What all have you ordered if you don't mind telling us. I have the tankcover, akras, bellypan and read tire hugger on my mind right now. r

No the S does not come with the carbon front fender.

I ordered:

- DP CF front fender
- DP CF rear hugger for full exhaust
- DP race windscreen
- DP CF tank cover
- Rizoma pegs
- DP CF heel guards
- Progrip grips
- DP bar ends
- Moto Corse quick release gas cap
- DID VX chain
- DP bellypan for race exhaust
- DP/Akrapovic full exhaust
- Evotech radiator guards
- Evotech tail tidy
- Rizoma rear LED signals
- Panigale spacers
- Ducati bike cover
- Euro spec left hand side switchgear w/ DRL button (going to try to see if we an control the low beam to turn on and off like all the other country's specs)

I think that's about it for now.

In the words of one of my fave early 2000s movie, not a bad way to spend ten grand!

Did anybody with hands on confirm yet if you can accomplish GP Shift and still utilize QS by simply flipping the rod and adjusting the link? Thanks

btw above is the V4/V4S Spare Parts catalog if you haven't seen it yet.

It should be noted that is the Euro parts catalog for the V4S, not the US one, which is not out yet, but should be shortly. We have the standard V4 catalog in PDF format for the US as of today, still waiting on V4S and Speciale. Standard V4 one can be found on our web site here:

Panigale v4 touring accessory package

Has anybody ordered the V4 Touring pack yet?

Based on all the reviews so far this bike is very comfy and I certainly plan on riding it long distances to tag along with my friends with their comfier bikes.

I haven't fitted a tank bag to my bikes since I had a Triumph Daytona 955i and I didn't like having the straps always on the tank to fit the bag, I am hoping the Ducati specific Tank Bag fits on more invisible if that is possible.

Perhaps those of you with 1199/1299 experience can enlighten me/us? :)

I posted in another thread, but yes, you can switch to GP shift, and no, you don't have to flip the rod around. Just change the rod connection to the other bolt hole on the shift lever and done.
