crashing off the lot takes skill

We've had people crash their new bike without even riding, now THAT takes skill! :D Usually it's in the back of a pickup bed, or in the parking lot forgetting to put the kick stand down and get off the bike.

Yep I've seen my share of bikes crashed at the end of the dealership parking lot. sad to see a grown man cry.

on a positive note I'd give the owner $50 for it shipped to my door:D

My buddy dropped his first bike without riding ever riding it. We picked it up in my truck and he was moving it around his garage to get some better pic angles and down she went:mad:

I've owned five motorcycles.

Four have been on their side.

I've never crashed a motorcycle.

Some of us are more special than others.

Odd crash however it happened - if it had been flipped wouldn't the screen have been smashed as well?

Either way, its a shame. Maybe its a dealer demo bike ?

But how did it crack only the top of the rear cowl and not the windshield? Only explanation is someone bought the bike without the wife knowing, and the wife found out and took a sledgehammer to it. Never making that mistake again...

Your not speaking from experience are you lol. The front has a lot of damage so if the hit the curb then the rear swung around and hit as well. Either way you look at it someone had a bad day.

Sucks to have the soon to be most famous V4 in the world.

I remember years ago my buddy picked up a CBR 929. I met him at the dealership and his girl dropped him off. The salesman went over the bike with him. The Honda dealership was in Brooklyn on Coney Island Ave. The dealer rolled the bike off the apron onto the street. It was his 2nd bike. First bike was a used CBR600F something. He had it for 4 months and traded it in. We told him to be careful because those were brand new tires. He gave the bike too much throttle as he pulled away while turning right with the flow of traffic. Bike came out from under him and bam. He needed all the plastic for the right side including front fairing, right mirror, right clip on, right brake lever, right brake foot lever, right foot pegs, windshield. He got the bike back 3 weeks later ( insurance is a hell of a thing LOL). I picked it up for him and rode it 5 miles to his house since he was working. Dummy didnt learn his lesson. I got my bike and came to get him with 4 others. We rode to Rollin Roaster to eat on Emmons ave. He lived a few blocks away. We pull away from the curb faster than we should have gone. We warned him his tires are new. He decided to pull away just as fast. If you want to know what parts needed to be replaced as he crashed again just look at the beginning of this post. Gods honest truth this happened
