Spot on, here in sydney we have similar problem, Big CC bike with big ego but can't ride so they always booked in advance group instead of intermediate.....always have to pick them up on the outside and give them that " fucktart " look..... mind you, i track on monster 821
 
Well, found the article.. this makes more sense now.

"As the rider in front exited the tight Turn 8, his glove somehow hooked on his brake lever, something he realized as he was entering Turn 9, causing him to go straight. I realized this as I turned in to Turn 9, and the last thing I remember was thinking “What the…!” before everything went black."

You mean by something like his fingers..? Who has ever had their glove get caught on a brake lever?

Seems highly unlikely, but, the Alpinestars GP gloves have the pinky and ring fingers stitched together to help avoid breaking your finger in the event of a low-side. Not sure if other gloves have this feature also.

I guess it's feasible for the lever to get stuck in there somehow.
