Hello everyone, I am about to buy a 2020 model 11,000 km Panigale v4s. How many km can this engine do healthily? How long does the engine last and are there any chronic problems or faults that I should know about? I need your comments, thank you.

Hello there

ive got a 2020 V4s as well, 6000miles total (9600km). This is my third ducati superbike.

Get to reading on these forums starting back from 2018, youll learn pretty much everything and see everything on here.

Ive met a couple people with 45K miles on their V4s, i hope to join them someday as well.

Ive learned that you need to replace the oil often, and i recommend you get it tested as well.

good luck,
Jag

In the country I live in, motorcycles are very expensive and difficult to sell. Do you think Panigale would satisfy me compared to other racing motorcycles, for example S1000RR or ZX10R? Thank you very much for your answer.

I love my Ducati man, they are great emotional machines.

I drove the ZX10 and it felt cheap and quiet. The BMW is boring and sounds like .......these are just personal opinions though...they are all amazing bikes.

If i were you, i'd but the bike that you can most easily get support and service in your local country. If there is Ducati support, go for it...

If you buy any late model 1000cc bike you should be happy, but IMO the Ducati is different.
They are build differently and the V4 is just so fast and does everything so well.
You won’t regret it.
I love Demo engines so I am biased
