Yes, we are going to head home about 1-2ish. We will be there, and others are staying

Shoot me a text about your exact time and we will wait for you at the gas station/resort there at the beginning

What a great week!

A special thanks to everyone that attended. Jim thanks a ton for everything, and keeping us safe from the police!

I'll get some pics up later. The adventure home was just that with Sky, Logan, and Kevin. Just how many tires can a trailer go through. Story to come from them I'm sure.

Charlie I enjoyed the company while the others were still snoozing.

those are some nice photos. Looks like you folks had much fun! Thanks for sharing.

Well here are my pictures from the trip. It was a great time!

3 Panigales on one puny trailer? That seems fine...

The complete rig

Getting closer! We've entered NC at this point.

dealsgap03.jpg

Arrived, geared up, and met up with everyone at Deals Gap Resort. Let the fun commence!

dealsgap04.jpg

The tree of shame - Luckily nobody from our group had anything to add. We did see a few Harley riders who could toss some parts to the base of that tree.

dealsgap05.jpg

After the first pass through the gap. Boy was I out of my element. Florida has nothing compared to this. There isn't a straight road in this county. This is a view from the outlook where most stop and go back to run the gap again. Its about 9 miles in, out of 11 miles total.

dealsgap06.jpg

Panigales at the Outlook. Here you can see CharlieM90 doing whatever he's doing over there.

(L-R) Don's Bike, Kevin's Bike, My Bike, Jay's Bike, Charlie's bike.

dealsgap07.jpg

Another shot of most of the crew.

dealsgap08.jpg

Panorama of the view from the Outlook

dealsgap09.jpg

We all rode over to the Fontana Dam for a nice group shot. The upside was we got to ride Jay's favorite stretch of road.

dealsgap10.jpg

Another shot at the top of the Dam

dealsgap11.jpg

Next we rode down to the bottom of the Dam because we thought we could catch some of the light. Good idea... but the light tucking away behind the mountains.

dealsgap12.jpg

Another shot from the bottom.

The view from the bottom of the Fontana Dam.

dealsgap14.jpg

My bike on the left, Kevin's on the right.

Jay, Dimitry, Jim, Charlie (L-R)

A nice fire we built that night. How many Ducati owners does it take to make a fire? 4 is the answer. :D ... Hey, after all, we're not adventure riders ;)

dealsgap17.jpg

The next day we met up again at the Deals Gap Resort for another day of infinite twisties.

dealsgap18.jpg

An unpaid shot of me going around the gap. I like this one, I think Ill buy it. I wonder if they can Photoshop out Kevin??? :p

dealsgap19.jpg

We ride out to a waterfall of which I forgot the name, but it was very nice!

dealsgap20.jpg

From the waterfall we took off towards the Cherohala Skyway. Here is a view from a stop off point.

dealsgap21.jpg

Towards the end of the day we met back up at the Deals Gap Resort and got an official group shot of the Panigales that were there. Another managed to pull up randomly with some CF fairings, I don't remember his name though.

dealsgap22.jpg

The next day we were back at it. "Phil" joined us and we ran the full gap. Here's a shot at the end of it. Theres "Phil" there on the left, then Jay "SOULRIDER", Sky "Castor Troy" :p, and Don "Omega10".

dealsgap23.jpg

And another shot at the bottom of the gap.

dealsgap24.jpg

And on the way home we had more trailer issues. Its just too much weight for this little trailer. We decided to unload Sky's (a.k.a Sapphire) bike and ride it home. We couldn't deal with another trailer issue at that point.

dealsgap25.jpg

And those were my pictures! Castor Troy (aka Sky, aka Sapphire, aka Dimitry) should have some video to post, as he was the one with the GoPros. I have some cool SloMo footage of some random stuff I can share if anyone is interested. I hope more of you can make it out to the next one we do.
