Well not ‘technically’ but one could argue that when you take out a securitized loan that’s securitized by said motorcycle, and you then destroy said securitized asset by disassembling it and selling off the parts that IS a kind of theft….so while it’s not TECHNICALLY a stolen bike…..

You can't sell oem exhaust, forks, wheels (big ticket items) for anywhere near 60% off retail. Oem exhaust is probably 300-400 maybe. If you don’t like my pricing guys that’s ok you don’t have to buy from me. I’m not desperate to sell anything and if these parts were available for cheaper you wouldn’t be asking me to buy them. I have been searching a lot and can’t find V4R parts cheaper than what I am asking for them.
 
I know you think you are being cute but surgery is no joke. Any time you go under the knife you are taking a chance with your life. How about we just focus on what the forum is about please?
 
So let’s review…the guy is parting out a financed bike because he’ll get $1000 more than if he just sold the bike, one person (probably the account he was using before creating this one to learn about his bike that he’s now selling) posts an over the top glowing review that smelled fishy in itself.

But now he’s had a surgery that he’s exceedingly offended that you pseudo joked about, and he has to have his mechanic remove the parts at some future date. For a cost significantly higher than the $1000 he was gunna make on pseudo stolen parts.

Yeah nothing fishy here….of coarse this guy could be on the up and up and just actually be that much of a train wreck of a life, but even then it’s always a ....... hot mess to do biz with someone that ...... up, so without HUGE discounts justifying the headache why would you want to waste your time chasing this guy down to deliver parts while everything in his life is going sideways



So I change my offer, $1200 for the forks, I’ll pick them up personally and pay cash.

.... I’ll even bring my toolbox and remove them for you 😂😂😂

Think of it like a pick and save, I’ll do the labor so you don’t have to pay your mechanic ;-)

Is the surgery to save you from terminal cancer by any chance? Or maybe you gave a kidney to an orphan?
 
Admittedly this sale/breaking of a v4R does sound wrong, I get that. But does anyone have any actual evidence to confirm this?

What about the pictures provided?

this is the second one. Is this the seller? Does the place selling the bike exist? What can he say? anyone live near the address thats on the form? does that address exist? Does the chassis number relate to a R?

Guys, everyone should pump the brakes and give this seller the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

Dealer is legit, bike is legit and seller seems legit. It is an owners right to do with his/her goods whatever they wish.

I rolled the dice and am involved in a parts purchase from him. He has not asked for any money upfront or anything fishy. As soon as the items are removed and packaged, we will go forward and when/if they arrive, I will advise accordingly on here.

I’m not freaking out about the unexpected surgery. Things happen in life that slow us down and the way I see it, if he never comes through for me, I’m not out anything but for now, he has my trust and confidence and I have time to patiently wait.

How many items must he sell to stop the madness on here?

To the forum police, what legit offers have you sent him to buy items? Do you even have real interest in what he has?

Initially, I blasted him because the thread seemed way off but I have validated enough to make me feel at ease. Have a heart……
 
It is odd someone would dox themselves like that. Even more bizzare that they dox themselves then try to pull a stunt like this. If that is indeed the OP, anyway.

Agree, but highly doubt that’s the case.

Rest assured though, I am NOT the OP. Never met him but when he comes through and I get the items I committed to buy, you can take my after action review to the bank!!

No but thanks for the concern. I had my gall bladder removed and a stone removed from my liver. Liver stones run in my family

Good luck buying V4R forks for under 2k with both stock and stiffer springs. Want to come remove them yourself go ahead. My jack comes Monday. I’m not here to screw over anyone but I’m not gonna sell my parts that are basically brand new for pennies on the dollar.
