Hey guys glad to meet everyone. I'm picking up my Panigale Saturday August 19th. I can't wait. 2 quick questions. To GP shift it like all my bikes I have owned previously. I see that I have to purchase the GP shift wire and flip the arm 180 on the transmission spline. If I buy reverse shift capable rear sets do I still need to get the Ducati reverse shift wire. Thanks for the help guys. Can't wait to post pictures soon of my new Baby

reverse rearsets make the reverse quickshifter obsolete

Nice introduction to the brand! Enjoy :)

Congratulations, and thanks for joining the forum.!!

Lots of advice and experience here, just ignore the usual forum nonsense.

What have you ridden before - the big girl is a bit different to the usual IL4s?

Whatever you do, don't post complaining it gets hot. :)

Cheers,
Ben

It gets hot ??

Congrats! I went the DP link/wire reverse shift route. primarily because OEM pegs are practically free second hand and if you buy CNC pro shift levers (I think there $350 a pair) you save a ton on rear sets. Money that can be spent on track days, tires, oil, you get my point. I also watched Pirro lap within a few seconds on a 1299s with the OEM setup and SC1s so go figure...

Ridden Deals gap cherohala and Suches Ga on 2 different year RC51s and a 2015 CBR1000RR. It does get a little hot but I love Vtwins. Since Jap bikes stopped making Vtwin sportbikes this was my only choice. I've had her 3 weeks now and love her. Just got done doing my Rapid Bike Evo, Sprint Air Filter, and Shift carbon subframe covers. I Love this thing. We just had a hurricane here in FL but I got 526 miles on her so far. I'm in Love with my Italian REDHEAD. I started watching Panigale YouTube videos and it became an obsession to have one

Superbike WSBK races are on this weekend so will be able to see the Pani kick some Jap butt (in a non racist way). Enjoy

New First Ducati

I'm from Tampa FL. Some Pictures of my left over 2016 they gave me a good deal I think. Last thing I got to do is Ohlins suspension form Kyle Racing. Did Exhaust Smog Block offs, Sprint air filter, Rapid bike Evo, Geared 15-41 now. SC Project exhaust on the way along with Giamoto rearsets, Changed grips to Pro Grip Gels tonight. I just can not leave things alone. Thanks again for letting me into the Forum
