Over the holidays, I traveled to Spain and Portugal and was fortunate to spend a few days in Valencia, Spain to see the final championship round of the MotoGP season. Here are a few pics from the track.
At the track on Friday, there were not that many people watching the practice sessions:
The Ducati Village on Friday was accessible for anyone to sit on the Ducati motorcycles. This entire area was roped off on Sunday because of the sheer amount of people on race day.
This was the first time I had seen the all new 2014 Ducati 899 Panigale in person:
Cool billboard at the track:
Sunday - Race Day!
Waiting at the train station in Valencia at 6am:
The train ride from Valencia to Cheste was full:
Off the train and walking to the track:
Lorenzo wins the final MotoGP race of the season, and Marquez wins the Championship.
