you don't have a camera on your phone? Stop, take a pic when it happens.

It's not overly cold here, but it's my bike's first winter. Mine has started to do it.
It doesn't bother me so much.
I'll endeavour to get a pic this weekend.

I love the fact that this guy posted on a public forum to get a picture of a problem so he can justify a warranty claim. I'm confident that the dealer wants a picture of the problem on YOUR BIKE, not just any bike. So you're looking to fraudulently document a warranty claim and you posted this request on the internet. Good job.

I was waiting for someone to bring this up. LOL smart people out there. Dealer is probably reading.

That's why he needs to take a pic of his dash with his phone....

I'm having the same problem, yea, that's what it is - fogging, now and then - yea, I'm sure - I should get that picture too, I am sure that's what my fogging looks like, I'm certain. :D

Thanks for the very helpful suggestions, i already sent pic to dealer but he wants something more clear and since this is intermittent i would like to get this covered before my warranty expires.

Unfortunately the fogging goes away after an hour of riding which means i would have to trailer bike to dealer when this happens.

Considering that there have been many issues reported with the display and others are also worried that display will go bad after warranty.

My dealer is willing to warranty with simply a pic.

Very helpful group of guys here, this forum is getting from bad to worse!!!

Really? As the second post offered a quite reasonable suggestion, the 7th post offered to take a pic when it happens again, and the 8th post linked to a thread with a pic, we've been more than helpful with trying to falsify your warranty claim. If it takes an hour for the fogging to go away you have more than enough time to get a pic, or ride to a friend with a camera phone to get a pic, or go to a professional photographer and get them to take a pic.

So you have an hour to get a simple picture of a problem but can't seem to get that done. If I had that problem I could have a pic to my dealer within minutes of it happening.

This is funny...

You are trying to pull some questionable warranty claim with your dealer... and we are the bad guys????

If we went to merely worse, I think we would consider that as an improvement. These are only words, don't let the ones you don't like bother you, just ignore them. Believe me, it works :D

You guys ride too slow. Just like the exhaust heat, the fog will never attach to the dash if you ride fast enough. Just saying. ;)
