What ever you do to the ECU is not going to fix the fact that the engine was designed for use with a 15t front sprocket. They put the same engine in the V2 Streetfighter but fitted it with a 45t rear sprocket as standard. So the V2 being more track focused was fitted with a 43t rear - if you are looking to make your V2 more street friendly (usable around town) then do as I did and change the rear to a 45t. I think it rides way better, acceleration is improved at the loss of some top speed.
so with 15 43 you had no more problems (gear indicator error & not wanting to shift down) Still funny that you can manipulate it that way

A V2 built between 2020 and 2024 as standard has a 15t front and a 43t rear. Keeping a 15t on the front and swapping to a 45t rear there are no problems - all is good.
