Having the bike flashed with the map that comes with the Ackra wheelbarrow exhaust system tomorrow and thought I might get the Evo 3 update while I’m there.

Is it a case of just asking them on the day? Or do they need to order the software from Ducati for uploading

The EVO3 software deletes your tail and brake lights. Wet mode gives you a tail light. Gonna jimmy up a rear brake light.
I'm trying to find out all the tech details on this upgrade. Does it change the engine tune? Does it change the ABS?
Or just a DCT, EBC?

I got EVO 3, and all lights working as normal….

Interesting, what mode does that work in? I have RaceA,B, Wet, 5 Custom. No tail, brake lights except Wet. Maybe a North America thing?

Normally I use Race A, and all lights working ( brake etc), they put EVO 3 same time as akra ( well, least dealer give me 500€ bill for that Evo3…😄)…maybe I missing something…or they bill me nothing…is it need switch on or something?

Complete hearsay but my dealer called me to let me know that the EVO3 disconnected the lights and that there will be an update to possibly reenable them. Was a non-issue for me since it is 100% track but it sounds like Ducati did it without sending out a bulletin and were working to “fix” the incompatibility with street riding. This was @45 days ago so it is possible a new version of the software is available to correct the light.

I had the Akra, Up map ,EVO3, all installed at the same time at the dealer as well.
I have no more Street, Sport modes. Paid $900CDN for EVO3

Thanks Kev. I don't ride often on the street except Northern Cali. My budy is a Ducati Tech and goes to the North American Ducati Tech update classes yearly.
He has some questions for me to get details on. This software is a rare option that guys here have not installed. I might be the only guy in Canada that has it.
I raced Superbike here for 15yrs. Had great club success. All on GSXR's with no Electronics. Don't really care about a brake light except for liability.
Love this bike!

Is EVO3 strictly slicks/wets only or would DOT SC tyres qualify as ok to use with it?

Sure, but the product description says it is for slick or wet tyres. Does that actually matter and if it does then are Supercorsa SC DOT tyres ok for this software?

did you install it?
If yes let us know the differences

I did, bought and installed on the same day, no probs. Not rode it since but off to Almeria in early December and will let you know what I think after.

the evo3 upgrade give you better options with slick or rain tyres, and is more suited to the track.
it also gives you easier shortcuts with the dash
