Quick action throttle?

I'm giggling that this thread has just come up. I literally just got home from having them installed (along with some other things). I highly recommend picking some up. What a difference! I purchased a "kit" similar to the one listed above from Desmoto-Sport earlier this summer while visiting some Ducati shops in and around San Francisco.

Home made throttle hesitation fix

Hi guys,
brand new to the forum this is my 2nd post. I have had my new toy only two weeks and was at the local track giving it a bit last week (running in) when I too noticed the throttle lag.
Anyway I had a look into this and have posted some pics below of some mods I did. I have not had a chance to test it fully only on a local trip of about 50kms but I am off to Phillip Island next week to give it a good run so can fully test it there. It made such a difference on my 50km ride so I am really looking forward to the Island.


As you can see there is a 4-5mm gap here that is all slack. ?? Don't know why Ducati did this?


Here you can see a piece of clear plastic that I machined to fit the gap.


And finally here, all fitted.


The housing actually creates quite a snug fit around the plastic tab, it can't physically go anywhere. I used a bit of Glue to hold it in place just in case though.
Difference in throttle is night and day!!
