Carlin mentioned someone had deferred. I would have snapped it up, but am still in England until July, so also opted to wait my turn for the next one.
I can understand having second thoughts. Every ounce of reason tells me I'd be better off with the Multistrada. But reason doesn't buy motorcycles.

Exactly! That reason gets the best of me sometimes. My heart says get it, my brain says don't. That Multistrada is a nice ride!

Yes, but every once of reason says your better off in a safe and practical Honda Accord or Volvo. I think we're past the voice of reason.
I sold my MV two weeks ago because I wasn't riding as much anymore and bought an Evora S. Now, I'm feeling a little empty....hence me being here on the Panigale forum. So, for now, I'm living vicariously through you fellows.

Reason must definitely be kept in its place (bound and gagged in the corner when shopping for a new motorcycle).
The Evora is a lovely car, though, so I'm not feeling too bad for you. I sold an early (2000) Elise when I bought my 1098 a few years back and that also left an empty spot in my heart.
