MR12 is 10hp+ when tuned in. U4.4 is worth maybe 3hp. Both of them give noticeable throttle response improvements over pump gas.
Yes it will eventually kill the cats and O2 sensors. I'm just running ethanol free 93 octane in mine right now. I save money and spend it on more track days and race tires.
And what yzf856 said is key; you have to tune for MR12 and U4.4 to really get the power out of it. If you cant adjust timing and AFR you wont see the higher HP.
