No, A Group, running 1:57's, 1:58's, which is only 2 seconds a lap off the best I ever turned on my BMW S1000RR and this was my first track day in over 2 years (due to the birth of my daughter). .... Yeah, I'm old and I'm fat, so leaning off the bike more, is an ongoing exercise; I have a coach who has been working with me on that, but my body positioning is MILES better than it used to be; I was taught the old-school way, Mike Hailwood type body position, i.e., very up and down and so overcoming a lifetime of riding one way, is taking time.I think I remember those leathers/bike. Were you in B+ group? Might have passed me a few times lol
Edit: You could hang off the bike a bit more to reduce lean angles and hard parts scraping
