Race Replica

Does anyone think they will be producing a Race Replica similar to what they did with the Bayliss edition or Bostrom. Would anyone be interested in it since WSBK has been a clusterfuck.

Normally VERY interested, but not while it's been a clusterfuck as you mentioned. The WSBK performance by itself isn't really something to be proud of or flaunt right now, which is sad for me because I'm a big fan of Ducati's racing heritage. Not sure the Repsol edition Hondas would sell as well if they were backmarkers.

On the WSBK Euro feed the announcers always comment on how beautiful the bike looks in race trim. I'll admit I really like the look myself. Maybe a World Superstock Replica? Much better showing.

Unless Checa wins the WSBK Championship...who knows, they may come out with a Limited Run 1199 "R" in Checa Racing Alstare color scheme...

But I doubt it...as Checa is not doing well on the Panigale....YET.
