Hello all,
Disclaimer: I have absolutely tried the search function...

I can not seem to find a source for the set of blank-off plugs that (i assume) normally come with the DP Race Fairing kit. I'm purchasing Sharksinz and would like to use the proper blank-off plugs for the kickstand, taillights, headlights, and whatever else is included.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thank you all very much, and happy holidays!

Thanks again Phl. Yea, I just went to their site and searched the part number and nothing comes up. I'll be making the call tomorrow. Thanks for the link so now I know exactly what part numbers I need.

I added them back to the site, we had taken them down because they were backordered for quite a while, but they're available again. Here are the links:

Front kit (headlight & kickstand) -

Rear kit (tail light) -

Just so I fully understand, this does not include a blank off for the fan????

Yes it does, it has a plug for the headlight, side stand, and fan. The other kit has the plug for the tail light.

I see that that tail light kit is no longer available but could you tell us if it was simply a sealing cap or did the plug have some kind of resistor in it to prevent CELs? Thanks

Yes resistor, with the tail light unplugged you'll get an error when either of the brake light switches is activated. The other solution is just to unplug the brake light switches from the wiring harness, which won't create an error and will prevent the tail light error from occurring since it can never be triggered. That should only be done on a track-only bike, obviously.

Yep , that’s what I did and it works but local dealer is telling me I can order that plug piece by itself and it’s only about $17 part number 96580021A — (tail light connection plug). Will post if/when I get it.

Yes, that's the racing tail kit part number that has been discontinued, no longer available from Ducati.
Might be time for me to ask for a refund I guess. They still seem to be waiting for it to arrive. oh boy. Thanks!

by chance does anyone know how much resistance the put in the cap? if you have one, could you measure the resistance between each of the outside pins and the center pin? many thanks
