racing vs racing evo

I have termi slips so when i start the bike it says racing do to the unlock of the upmap. i am wondering how much of a difference is racing evo?
can you get racing evo installed without a full system? will it negatively affect the bike if you don't have the full system?

Yes, it should have an adverse affect on performance, since the map is optimised for the Termi header + slips configuration

I dont know if its been dyno'ed and tested, but that would be what Ducati/Termi would want us to believe

Plus, to answer the second part of your question, the Racing Evo map only comes with headers/full sys, so i don't know where you would source one to try

No, it comes with the full exhaust.

xbox ive seen these tune keys available on ebay. i have also "heard" that some dealers will unlock it for you for a "fee". ducati wants you to believe a lot of things which i found to be untrue

well i have found that most techs for the 1199 have no clue what they are talking about. i actually bring more info to them than i get good info in return.
for example how many of you have heard the new termi heat shield wont fit the standard pipe. well it came from ducati so it must be true right? wrong it fits fine. nothing wrong with the dash wrong they are up to the 5 or 6 version.

so i think if you could get the racing evo upmap without the full system their will be no adverse affect but i would like some confirmation
