Raise handle bars ?

These are the bars I have although mine are the first version. I fitted them in 2013. Made a big difference for me. It is funny I have posted lots of pics of my bike on this forum and no one has ever noticed my modified clip ons and asked about them.

Hey , if anybody is interested in a super cheap and easy fix , I got a motocross bike fat bar , pro circuit clamps , hand machined a relief in upper triple clamp , switched clutch hose to front brake and ordered a longer clutch hose from speigel . The hardest part was making fairing spacers , no need to trim that beautiful bodywork . Replaced start/stop switch , helps clearance issues . Added tinted higher screen . This combo works great and I can ride all day , I’m 63 . The handling seems to be unaffected with an added bonus , the bike loves to be backed into turns and flicks left right like a 250 . And you have no clearance issue lock to lock. And it doesn’t force your hand to move or any pinched fingers?

Not really , the bars just kiss the fairing at full lock , no pinched fingers .This set up transforms the bike , it is my go to bike not just sitting in garage to be admired like most ducatis . It gets a lot of attention from older riders and some sneers from the young ones which changes after they ride it !! I just finished single sided swingarm set up . The question i get is , why didn't you buy a 1299 ? The 959 is fast enough , very smooth engine and much better gas mileage for those longer rides , looks just like a 1299 now . Cheers
