I had a DP sets and I liked it.
But I like SATO sets better because of the adjustability. It beats any others as far as height wise. GP shift is a must as well.

If you have a shorter or average leg length and now like 6 feet + height, it helps to put your knees closer to the tank.

I gotta throw in my hat for GiaMoto. They now have distribution in the US (out of Texas) and first class support. The rearsets themselves are beautifully machined and finished with ti hardware. Adjustability is good, parts are available and the price is RIGHT. Highly recommend.

I ended up going with the CNC set from Bellissimoto. Picked up the Pramac replica set. Should be here Friday! :D

Sorry but for $1200.00 the DP rear sets suck .... You get plain bearings that have zero adjustability for play and wear and they are sloppy right out of the box. The adjustability is crap and they are a ..... to take on and off. They are not modular like CNC,Lightech etc. The similar looking (same color and finish)rear sets that Ducati supplies to WSBK are far more adjustable and have precision bearings at all points so obviously they do not consider their DP rear sets as performance products. WSBK, BSB run Lightech, Attack, CNC right out of the box. The DP rear sets do look pretty. Anyone want to buy a slightly used set?

LMAO.. Awesome sales tactic there! "Would you like to buy this nice piece of ....?" haha

These giamoto rear sets fit the 1299?

Woodcraft are by far the best bang for the buck when it comes to rearsets. Great quality, very robust, inexpensive, hold up well in crashes, replacement parts easy to get, and the Woodcraft guys are fellow racers and genuinely good dudes.

But with all of that being said, I went with LighTech because the Woodcrafts don't have the forward adjustability that I want. I want my pegs as far forward as possible.

Great choice. I have the CNC RPS and the adjust-ability on them are sweet.

You can adjust for shorter throws, GP shift, peg height, toe height and length, all major points on bearings and a splash of carbon.

One thing I can advise on is to remove all bolts and thread lock. The Pani will vibrate the bolts loose, especially the hard to reach ones.

The only real complaint on them is the pegs are short-ish and the pegs being so grippy. If you rotate and move your feet alot on the pegs the CNC pegs will grate down the soles of your boots.

Just got the brake side installed. Very impressed thus far. They even incorporate a mount/connection for the stock brake switch, which is a nice touch. Every other set I looked at either didn't have it or required a separate pressure switch.

The machining is amazing. I can see why the thread lock is so important.. the damn threads are so perfect, they would just spin right back out. The only thing that was slightly lacking was directions. They provide a basic part sheet/diagram which is relatively sufficient, but I had to pull things back apart a few times based on order of installation.

The hardest part was getting the stupid stock rearsets off.. kind of a pain in the .... Happy so far!

Sato's have worked good for me. I've had them on previous bikes and they offered good value. A little sacrilege putting Japanese bits on an Italian bike, but they look great and work better.

Who actually makes DP parts?

I doubt there is some back room at the Ducati factory where they make rearsets, fenders, etc. Ducati just buys them in bulk, rebadges them, then marks the price up 100%.

So who is the actual source for the rearsets?

lightech R

Think you can get parts for them I have a pdf with a breakdown, I like them but CNC looks better so does DP
