I was just getting my shock retweaked and noticed play in the rear swing arm up and down. Turns out on inspection the top shock bearing and front top linkage bearing have play in them.

With only 4,500kms on it that’s ridiculous especially given a portion of that is on smooth tracks and not bumpy roads.

Anyone else have this? Not noticeable unless you unweighted the back wheel and lift it up and down.

Im assuming the bolts were tight when you meaured the play? The link bearings are bronze bushes not needle roller like most bikes, i will check tomorow what the clearance is on the std link, its sitting on the bench.

Yes everything was tight as we were putting it back together and checked them all.

Can’t understand how they could be flogged out already
