Hi Folks

Has anyone replaced the rear spring on a V4s? The spring rate is 95 Nm and 175mm long it appears Ohlins dont have a direct replacement, looking around the only replacement I can find is 160mm long .If this is the case a 15mm spacer would have to be made to get you back to the 175mm length of the original spring.
Has anyone else found an alternative solution to this?

I bought a 90nm replacement from Ducati Omaha. They advertise it as being for the V4 but also state it's suitable for the V4S (which I have). Sorry, I don't know what the length is, however it's advertised on their website. They sell a variety of springs with rates from 90 to 115nm. I Had mine fitted by an Ohlins specialist who didn't fit a spacer. He checked the details before fitting and told me that although it wasn't specifically manufactured for the V4s it would do the job no problem.

Cheers, James.
