I've been trying to search this with no luck...

So, my bike comes in next week and I'm already planning the mods I want done. One of them is to replace the rear turn signals with the stupid orange bulb to led turn signals. I haven't been able to find any company that makes them for the 1199. Does anyone know of any manufacturers or are they not out yet?

I know Ducati sells a led turn signal kit. I've been told is universal but it doesn't show up on their website. Any insight?

Thanks!

Search for the Euro LED signal kit. It's available. I'm going to get some Rizomas myself. They're LED , and look bad-ass !

I've already changed mine. I ordered the factory led lights that come on the uk bikes.
They bolted on and flash normal. They are half the size of the USA ones.

Very nice. That was the option I was hoping for to be honest. I'm not a huge fan of the Rizomas. Where did you order from?

I ordered mine right from my USA dealer. They can look up the part numbers or if you need them I can get them. They are plug and play. I didn't take a picture yet, And the bike is at the dealer now with swingarm problem. :-(

Yes please. And how much did you pay?

Here's the part numbers. 53010282a and 53010292a they had a list price of $43.00 each, I don't have my receipt in front of me but I think I paid around $37.00

Thanks for this! I really appreciate it.

So, no resistors needed or anything then? If you could snap a pic when you get your bike back that would be great.

On a side note I saw some Barracuda LED turn indicators that look great but the websites talk about adding resistors as well. I'm electronically challenged so does anyone know how to do this or what that means?

I'm sorry I didn't take pictures when I did it. Then an hour later I drove by dealer to show them my swingarm, and that's where it sits. The lights from Ducati are plug and play. Resistor must be built in. I've seen better looking or more trick turn signals but I wanted a factory look. The installation was super easy. You need to loosen the four screws on underside of plate bracket. Then you need to remove rear seat and there are four screws that need to be removed to lower tag bracket to gain access to wires.
Two of those are very easy. The other two you will need a Allen that's long enough to get to screws I used a T Handle type. There are to small holes next to seat latch that allow access. Wish I had my bike here I post a few pics.
Total install time about 30 minutes

Hitter , Don't be afraid of installing resistors. There's nothing to it. It's just adding a small gimmick in-line with the signal wires to change the ohms of resistance , so the signals flash slowly , like stock. Sometimes you can just plug them in. If not , you just cut the signal wire and solder/heatshrink ( or twist and tape ) them into the wire. Then plug in your signals. That's it. Easy.

No needs for resistor on the Euro Duc OEM, they are made to work with the front turn signals too ;-)

Hmmm...this might explain why my Monster's LED indicators blink real fast.

And Valen...I think I decided to go with your set-up. Turn indicators and all.

In this case no need for resistors ;)

(if you have any questions that are not on the tutorial don't hesitate)

Sounds good... Is it legit for me to use the stock plate light on the set-up without it interfering with the tail light?

Thanks Mark, gonna go ahead and order a set of those.

No pb the connection for tail light and license plate light are different. When you will unbold the OEM tail tidy you will find 3 connectors:
- one white: license plate light
- one black with a Dx sticker on it, it's for the right turn signal
- one black with Sx sticker on it, it's for the left turn signal

You just need to unbold the stock plate light and reuse it in your setup
