Rearset Selection

No folding pegs. I want mine to take a beating before the bike does.

The DP can fold or not. You decide.
They have a removable steel pin and you can decide.
If you keep the pin inside, the pegs dont fold.
meanwhile if you crash the pin get broken and the pegs fold. If you are luky you dont demage all the footpegs brkt and you can restart..

You can find pictures of the DP rear sets both ON and OFF the bike here :

DP Rear Sets - Ducati 1199

Feel free to take the images and repost.

Does anyone know if you can get replacement parts for the DP's? I know light tech parts are avail. Tough decision between the 2. I like the fact that I can have the DP with non folding but can break and fold.

I have no idea on the availability of replacement parts with DP, I would ask Ducati. It is good that there are a choice of rear sets and many have different buying criteria. For I it is Ducati through and through, which for the DP rear sets and Heel Guards puts them as the most expensive on the market, out of the hands of most. Similar to the Termi' FULL exhaust system I don't really believe that anything else comes remotely close. New upmap before end of the year.

I am *very* picky about what I put on my Tricolore .. so far only Ducati Performance, Rizoma and the cool Evotech lower radiator guard.

Reverse shift capability - who has this set this up for their bike, and what sets support it? It seems like regardless of manufacturer, you still need to buy the Ducati RQS to support it. Also, the description says the RQS will not worrk with the DP rearset?

I have put together a gallery of the different rearsets available, in an effort to select the perfect one! Each picture is named with the manufacturer and the price in US dollars. I am looking for input on appearance, reverse capabilirty, adjustability, and straight track or street/track. At this point the Rizoma is my favorite.

I saw the DP rearsets fitted to a 1199 today and boy did they look very nice.

Wish I could afford them.:(

I'm waiting on the woodcraft ones which are close to being done. They will offer reverse shifting with stock sensor. I've run them on my previous bikes and have been happy and replacement parts are easy to get and priced reasonably.

Any word besides woodcraft, which will allow reverse shifting, with out the DP quick shifter?

The lightech work reverse with the stock QS, my likely choice...

I'm getting DP rear sets fitted to my R when it gets delivered what's an extra $1500 they look sexy

Austin Racing set for me, in the titanium colour option. Look great, work great, easy to fit, and plenty of adjustment.
