Removing lower fairings

Hello,

Is it possible to remove the plastic fairings on the lower half of the bike (radiator molding, belly pan) and ride it naked? I have watched videos of people removing the radiator fairing (and the hidden plastic frame around the radiator) and belly pan to install a screen on their radiator, but I can not make out whether it is possible to keep everything underneath in place without reinstalling the fairing.

Would appreciate any feedback on this look if anyone has actually seen it done.

Never seen it done, personally. Is it possible? I don't see why not, but I don't think it would look right given there are mounting points that are underneath the fairing piece that would be exposed. I'm sure the fairing covers up some "ugliness" under there that you wouldn't want exposed aesthetically.
