Removing oil filter cap

I just did my first oil change today and getting the filter cap off was truly the hardest part and not that hard at all once i found these 2 bolts in my tool case. Then used 2 small pliers to gently pull on both at the same time. I will use the zip tie method next time.

(actually putting the filler cap in was a pain in the a$$ for some reason LOL)

That's because it only goes in one way up, if I remember correctly. Could be wrong been a while since I did mine.

Next time you change the oil, put a piece of aluminum foil over the exhaust where you see the oil has drained on it. This makes clean up significantly easier.
 
I use threaded hooks from the local hardware store. Works like a charm

like i got m8 bolts lying around...
are one of the fairing bolts m8? that would be nice
guess ill try the zip tie method, this thing is a pain
