Removing oil filter cap

That's because it only goes in one way up, if I remember correctly. Could be wrong been a while since I did mine.

Next time you change the oil, put a piece of aluminum foil over the exhaust where you see the oil has drained on it. This makes clean up significantly easier.

I use threaded hooks from the local hardware store. Works like a charm

that's a good idea to tap it for the next time you do an oil change. but before you can tap it, how did you get it off in the first place?

With a KA-BAR putting between engine housing and oil filter cap.

like i got m8 bolts lying around...
are one of the fairing bolts m8? that would be nice
guess ill try the zip tie method, this thing is a pain

Any hardware store is going to have small packets of bolts and their cheap.
