Here is my render of Ducati 1199 Panigale s Tricolore Nero. Main idea was to make Tricolore version more closely to Ducati Corse styling and way more sharper.
This color scheme can be interesting for future owners of 1199 Panigale S Tricolore, because they can get it using color foils, often used for wrapping cars in desired color.

I really do like that. Great job milanno. Very talented and the model looks sweet too :)

Looks good Milanno.....I wanna see if you can do it on a matte black version.....I'm thinking about waiting for that colorway to come out in the future.....besides I have one more year of paying off my truck then the coast is clear for a new toy.

great color combo , the bike looks great

ps model is cute but could do with some aftermarket bolt on's :-}}

This is a cute finish to what is already an awesome machine. I may look into the foil wraps when I get mine end of April. Superb combination Milanno.

Well guess dishing out extra cash for second fairings to paint so can have two colours .

Fantastic colour scheme Milanno, now my brain is working overtime:D
I have just found a company here in OZ that does a carbon fibre wrap, could be interesting with that replacing the black and the Ducati signs in red.

Thank you my friend. Let me know if you decide to do wrapping so I can see final result :)

Milanno,

Firstly, very very nice work, also your 981 renderings:)

Question if I may, you talk about Tric owners using foils, which I'm guessing would be black to mask away the red and achieve the desired effect.

So, how easy for a non-Tri owner to create a race-rep effect? Is this a better/worse route than painting, in your opinion?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you.

My advice to all people who want to modify their bikes is to use foils!

Here are benefits:
- With foil you protect your high quality original Ducati color
- You are getting amazing visual effect & you can remove foil anytime you want
- You can change as many color schemes as you want & your original color is in perfect condition.
- With foils you protect your original color form UVA/UVB rays, insects & from various little parts on roads.

There are some issues that you must deal with:
- You must find highly trained guys who will put foil on your bike
- Unprofessional handling with foil can damage your color/material
- Be sure that you pick right foil for material that you wrap
- You must pick foil from known manufacturer, because you put foil on bike that worth $20k+

Final deal is that you changed look of your bike as much as you wanted & when you decide to sell your bike - you sell stock bike without any adjusted parts.
In that way you have more potential buyers, because there are always people that like your bike as machine, but they dont like adjustments that you made on bike.

I hope that my advices helped you to make right choice :)

Please take my opinion with reserve before final choice!

I hope you dont mind but I have put up this link, mainly for the Aussies here, but also for people to look at what is available in wrap.

I don't know what a foil is, can you point me to a product website?

In the states, this is commonly referred to as vehice wraps. Most good sign shops are capable of this. I work on the printers and PC's that do this type of printing.
