Replaced air filter... fuel sensor light

I removed the top fi rings to remove and install new air filter. When I put everything back together I keyed on bike and now I have no fuel pump prime.

I left key on thinking maybe system had to prime longer but then I got the warning light... everything is on and I rechecked everything 3x's!!

Help!!

check your cable to the tank. you might have a bent pin in the connector

also, check your fuses. Maybe you made a slight short-circuit during (un)install.

That 4 pin connector is a bit pesky. You need to go straight in with that one. More than a few have had the same scenario. Once a pin is bent and straightened, check the integrity whenever you pull that connector. Once bent, it's really easy to bend it again.
