Let me clarify everything on the JP bypass since FOG .... Donna has no clue what .... he is talking about.
The DB unit is made by JP the older units did not have the extra electronics for the soft shutdown had nothing to do with battery drain. If anyone has ordered a unit either JP or DB in the last year they are all new style. I got one of the first ones out of the new batch also I make an extension harness so you can put the immobilizer and keybox in the tail section since there is not much room in the front or near the stock key switch location to mount.
