Replacing 1299 windsreen?

Is there another way of replacing the windscreen without dismantling the front nose as well? And how do you hold onto the grommets when removing the screws? Tried youtube but didn't show to much

You can't do it properly without taking the nose off. It's not too much work though, just daunting the First couple of times

Yes, with the right tools and patience. I installed my windscreen by using a bit of vasoline to keep the grommets in place and long angled picks to keep them there as my wife threaded the bolts through on the other side. The front 2 are the tough ones, the rest are easy.

You can also use Plastidip if you want to darken it...
