rev limiter problem

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone had the same problem as me with my motorcycle.
This is a 1199 S with a termignoni exhaust.
I have the following problems with it.

1. It is not possible to drive over approx. 9500 rpm. In this rpm start the rev limiter. It's the same for every gear and every driving mode.

2. When the motorcycle is cold. So he twitches (suffocates) in the first kilometer driven. You have to add more gas then it goes.

3. In any gear, when more is added in the range of 3000-4000 rpm, it jerks (chokes) and then it drives pretty normally.

I tried uploading the original map. I then uploaded the map via UpMap directly to this bike with the exact exhaust system, but no change to either.

Thank you very much for any info if anyone had the same problem.

If the clutch is engaged (lever pulled in) the bike will limit the RPM. If the switch is damaged, it may be stuck closed. Unplugging it would eliminate it as a problem.

With it unplugged, you won't be able to start the bike while it's in gear. You'll have to be in neutral.

If you have a OBDStar, or some other type of diagnostic device, you can see it switch on and off in real time to verify the function. Unplugging it would also work.

Nice work.
