I have this set-up for my Triumph speed triple; it is fantastic and really cleans up the back end. It does come with an LED licence plate light. I also recommend the LED turnsignals by Rizoma. I will be purchasing this same unit you have identified for my 1199 soon. So yes; quality is outstanding and I will be a repeat customer.
If you are in the US, I recommend PJ's parts. They appear to have the best pricing. (And no I am not affiliated with them, other than dropping several thousand $ on my speed tripple during the winter of 2008/9.)

ditto

-- ducati make a nice one - take a look at it before you decide

Exactly what I did. No mounting issues, plug n play - used smaller Ducati front signals off another model which plugged right in and half size too. Been hearing nigjtmare stories on CW and Evo mounting and am extremely content w what DP put out for once on this item. Hate the name "tail tidy" since it makes it sound like I forgot to wipe my ass.

So I already have the DP tidy but it has reatedly attracted the attention of the law here, the rules and regs are .... here, which is why I'm looking at this Rizoma model because it can place the plate at closer to a 45 degree angle,to the tire and it has a reflector built in.

I got a ticket last night for switching lanes without indicating and although I didn't get a non-compliance sticker the cop threatened it. (I only just finished f*****g around after my Harley was stickered for being too loud) As it happened he rides an 1198 and suggested the Rizoma tidy as it still eliminated the fender but was more compliant.

I hate the road laws here!

On the competition werkes they send in the kit led lights that sit inside the area of where your tail light is. see attached!!

I am really surprised, I have watched all the Mad Max movies, and you seem pretty liberal on the road, unless you kill a bunch of people. Even that seems to be tolerated if you had a good reason.

Wow... I don't have mirrors, turn signals, or reflectors...

Never during my years as a police officer in South Carolina, did i Ever stop a sport biker over plate regulations or a tidy tail issue, i dont even think theres any law on the matter in most of the US states. And here i thought Australia was a cool place, but you guys have to use Huge billboard looking plate holders and so many regulations. .... that! Bloody Hell Mate!

hey SE jay

in australia we have heaps of laws but we dont have billboards
thats EURO

with have the same size sign as you guys in the states maybe a lil smaller

Yep here they are looking for any reason to stick it to you. Makes the UK (where I lived until I was 32) look positively relaxed.

The laid back Aussie persona that our Tourism Department tries to project is ......... When it comes to our politics and laws we're the worst sort of politically correct, nanny state! Which is ironic because Australia is rough as guts in so many ways.

We have a government that is trying to enact anti-bikie legislation whilst turning a blind eye to corruption in so many levels of state government and the unions. A man can get locked up for low, level white collar crime but some thug king-hits a bloke outside a pub and kills him and he gets off with a suspended sentence.

Sorry for the rant, i love living here, have built an amazing life and business, we took Australian nationality at the first chance of which I am very proud but to use a good old West Aussie expression 'it really gives me the .....' that the politicians keep trying to make my life harder.
