That Rivale looks awesome. Sounds good as well. I wonder what would be a better purchase, the hypermotard or the Rivale?

Leon - because we have Sebastian as our local dealer, I will reiterate that I would go with the Rivale without even a thought of the Hypermotard SP. But I may be biased as a previous MV owner and big fan of the brand.

I actually had a deposit on a duc hyper 820 sp, and cancelled to buy the b3. I just find the new duc hyper underwhelming. I'd most def. buy the rivale before Id get the hyper. I do love the older 1100 hyper fyi.

That is the personal bike of the MV boss Giovanni Castiglioni.

With F4 rims and a 200 mm rear.

This is supposed to be a CAD drawing of the forthcoming MV Dragster 800.

2014 MV Agusta Brutale 800 Dragster Teaser Photos » Motorcycle.com News

Supposed to be somewhat of a cross of a Rivale and Brutale with lowered suspension, to perhaps compete with the Diavel. And to that point, comes with a 200-section rear tire. The plot thickens for my 2nd bike choice...

Hi, being an owner of the new f3 8 I might fill in some myth. It is a great base to start with. As we know jap bikes can be sat on & ridden. If you want to get the best from an Italian machine ? Then you need some input. Yes some of the first bikes were slow, but deliberate. Then second generation came, I had a 1078 RR B4 & it was nuts. It kept telling me it was running at 130c ! & I knew better. Turned out to be the sender, I will remind you that the "wogs" invented electricity. I bought my 800 as I got tired of riding my SB6 without the use of a race track ? It goes so hard, it is on rails mid corner & is the best thing I've ridden. I am 72kg race weight with gear, valving is slightly harsh in the comp stroke (both ends) The standard electronics are so impressive, you can create your own ignition map in the driveway b4 you ride off ! Everywhere I go it stops ppl. I rate it, if you can set up a bike to your liking.

Right, front end sorted. I dropped the compression leg out & replaced the oil to 2.5wt, adding 7mm in volume height. I then drilled the oil feed to 1.5 mm from 1mm, standard. It now has composure unlike the teenager it was ? Only reacting to larger bumps & ignoring the little things in life. Fit a damper.great bike.
