How is roebling. It is within my track distance, but I have never gone due to being told it is a super "boring" track. Thoughts?

Far from boring. It is actually one of my favorite tracks.

Top running Experts (in good conditions) will have an average speed over the whole lap of almost 110mph.

It is one of the few tracks where lap times are directly related to the size of your balls.

Dude nice work!

I had everything lined up to race at Roebling then some work .... came up and I had to leave the country.

Thanks C. I was looking for you again and you were a no show, lol. I going to race there again with CCS in August and see if I can get these times into the 15/16s.

Dude I was pissed. I had everything setup to go, Livengood was ready to be there (he comes to all of my races and takes care of the bikes so I can just ride). We were pumped...then this .... came up.

I have only been to Roebling once (as a Novice back in 2009 or 2010) and was looking forward to getting there again.

leon, awesome man love reading your stuff. keep up the reporting i feel im out there with you the way you write.

Will do Mark. I'm having a great time and learning a bunch. I'm getting faster. Looking forward to mixing it up with Chaotic next year in the expert class.

As I stated long ago before you started getting these number one spots - I am so extremely proud of you and what you have done in just one year my good friend!
You have truly achieved so much, and I am not just talking about the trophies and plaques either Leon! You have sincerely inspired me and made every visit to this forum worthwhile - just as Phil did for me after he bought my Suzuki SV650 and went out there winning everything he entered (And the most touching part was seeing the videos of his accepting his trophies and literally thanking ME when he got the chance to speak!) This actually brought tears to my eyes - THANK YOU AGAIN PHIL !!!

Today I got a text msg from Mark telling me how bad ass you were doing out there on the bike, and just as his stated above, how impressive and articulate you write-which obviously brought him to his comment about "feeling like he is out there with you the way you write" which goes without saying my man! Now I know exactly what you meant Mark- since I didnt read this until just now. Perfect observation Mark!

I will never forget the first time we met in Orlando when I was working the Belli Booth and how I said to Randy, Lyle, and even Andrew Cox how impressed I was with your demeanor, kindness and the way you present yourself. That image has stayed with me all this while as I read about every modification you made to that bike and started preparing yourself for club racing! Obviously you made a killer Ducati which leaves me in awe brother!

Again Leon, I am so incredibly proud of you my friend and pray that you continue to this sport safely and at the front! If I don't get the chance to communicate with you before then - I wish both you and your bride a totally memorable wedding day and night, and many many years of glorious time together as husband and wife!

Congrats on EVERYTHING Leon! You seriously deserve it after all you put in my man!

Whats good rob? Healing? Everyone is still asking about you in the pits bro.

Juice, healing is going just fine. Had another CT Scan and everything is looking good. I'm back spinning so my cardio is great but my Doc does not want me running or doing anything with a lot of vibration (cutting grass, weed-eating..) So, it will be a least another 4 months. By the way, your bike pulls like a beast Bro!!! Give my best to everyone, especially the Chaplin!!!

Keep it Bro!

Awesome. I will. I make it a requirement to always seek Mark out when I'm at the track. It's running pretty good. I still have some changes in mind this off season.

Thanks for the kind words Gunny. I appreciate everything bro. Sponsor hook ups and just the friendly text mags and phone calls man. See you soon at VIR.

Hope I can make it my friend.
I'm so glad you took my advice by reserving one of the trackside suites over the pristine garages there! You and the "bride to be" will be very impressed with it and totally appreciate the cover and amenities of having the garage as well brother! I know theyre a bit steep but worth every penny!

And, when it comes to this being your first experience riding VIR I am 110% sure you will be blown away with this unbelievable track! It was absolutely my favorite back in my CCS days. MotoAmerica (AMA) made an awesome move putting VIR back on the schedule and according to several of the racers personally told me how stoked they were to return there as well. I don't see you hitting 180 on this straight but you'll need to be aware of the "kink" in it since they unfortunately removed the great tree at this point which was a superb marker for the kink. You'll see what I mean and if I'm there I want to be present after your first practice lap and see the massive smile on your face after taking off the helmet! ;)

That said, I hope you reserved a room for me also since your Crew Chief needs plenty of rest to perform his job at 100% my man! :)

Keep putting up your race reports between now and then too. They definitely make a good read as Mark picked up on right away! Ttyl.
