Hi everyone!!!..I’m new to Ducati and I won a Copart auction Panigale V4 on September 13,. It’s in Denver and I’m driving from Texas to go get it in a rental van tomorrow. I’m very excited with the new challenge it’s going to give me. I can add photos of the bike later or on another post.
I need help. This auction bike was wrecked. Has no keys. Has no speedometer or front part of upper fairing, aluminum support for the lights and instrumentts. I guess the rider hit something right at the headlights and smashed that area without destroying the front shocks. The breakaway handle bars are broken. The rear tail fairing is broken in half.
A. I need to get a set of keys for it. The ignition switch is still there. The tank lock is there. The seat lock is there.
B. I need a new instrument cluster and I think I will need a new wiring harness or at least a new plug tothe cluster. The photos are showing some cut wiring harness in that area.
C. There will be new developments once I pick up the bike in Denver this Thursday or Friday. I will take more photos then.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I love my bike and am really excited to get her home to clean her-up and fix her damages. I know she will be a real Superbike once I get her going again. I will attempt all repairs in my garage. I’ve worked on bikes before. Her fairings will be existing and I will plastic fix them myself. Here wiring will be repaired also by replacing wires as necessary. I will have to Frankenstein some items like headlights and taillights until I can find a donor bike with some parts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will take a lot of photos of my progress and post them here.
Thanks again my fellow brothers in Ducati.

Curious to see how this goes, specifically if the frame winds up being cracked.

I picked up a wrecked r1 a few months ago on Copart for the price of the engine pretty much and am building that into a race bike. Mine had a totally broken frame which of course the did not show in the pics.

Cant wait to see the pics of the Ducati. Good luck!
