Hello Ducati Owners.
I am new to Ducati and about to become owner of a 2010 Multistrada 1200s ABS with no keys and no ignition lock. (Insurance Auction for recovered bike)
Can someone please advice - to repair it should i get replacement ignition lock and key and get it to Ducati to be programmed or paired or smth... Or there is no such a way and I need to get a full kit of ECU, Speedo, Black Box, keys, tankcap and other locks and everything replaced?

Im not familiar with these anti theft electronics and any help would be good.

P.S. Latvian Ducati place said they cant help unless they get the bike to be inspected...

Regards, Kris

Correction - i am missing both keys and ignition button.

I'm going through the same thing with a 1260S. Required a Hands Free Kit & a Locks Kit. Once fitted they need to be paired by a dealer. Probably best to suss it out with a dealer to work out which parts are needed and what the process is as it may be different for your model. I sourced from KFM Motorraeder and cmsnl.com who both sell genuine parts at very good prices.

Done this replacement handsfree, you need to get the dealer to do it. It wont be cheap but the labour component is only a few hundred dollars and it will save a lot of headaches plus you need the dealer to to the software side anyway.

I had the same situation, try sosdiagnostics in Oregon. They sent along some great instructions on how to pull out the ignition module - I pulled out my key switch and gas cap lock, sent it to them, in return I got a factory key and fob. I needed to go this route (bc of the luggage) - way cheaper than replacing the lockset and luggage. all working great.
