Will post more pics when installed. Not really looking forward to do this pain in the butt install. Just might have the dealer do it.

ScrapperX, nice to see you at DW the other day. I was shocked to see you trading in your 1199 work of art for that 1299! The 1299 must be bringing it really well for you to give up that 1199. Whoever gets your bike is gonna have a great ride!
I haven't rode any '15's yet except for the Scrambler. I haven't heard any bad things about that 1299 yet. Everyone seems to have a big smile after their test ride! Congrats man!

Pilot is was nice to see you there too. The 1299 is really amazing i didnt want to give it up but the 1299 is really that different IMO. It was my intention to make the 1199 into my dedicated track bike but i only see a few more track days ahead and that will be on the 1299. The more this bike gets broken in the better it gets. Everything on this bike is great except the MC dont get me wrong it stops really well, to well but i need a little more modulation when i ride the canyons and track i probably go with the RCS again. I rode through the canyons today and this bike has tremendous corner entry and exit speeds its crazy . I was thinking about was my line and nothing else. The Akrap full system, BST and the shorai dropped a lot of noticeable pounds it felt differnt today.

I have been off the forum ( well not posting ) for some time. In addition, I have been indulging in other hobbies. I thought I would just pop on and lo and behold Scrapper X is back at it :)

On your second picture, it looks like your heat shield is too close to the rear subframe, and is angled. Is this on purpose? Maybe this is one of the differences on the 1199 vs 1299 kits?

I have mine parallel to the subframe and closer to the pipes.

Here are some sexy pics of the Full Akrapovic installed.
Impressions/Feel - Huge amount of more mid range my god. Akarpovic is well made - beautiful craftsmanship, deeper sound than my old Termi's on my 1199. Up Map A/F seems to be pretty good. It unleashes the beast mode on this bike. Ill put it on the Dyno after the first service to check A/F Ratio. Heat shield is not as effective as the Full Termi's second generation heat shield (its about the same effectiveness as the first generation shield but it looks sexier!

^ Yeah, Scrapper's look like he didn't install the spacers.

Nope the spacers are there and thats how it comes for the 1299 4 black spacers are mounted. The Ducati Mech told me that the loop is bigger (Longer) than the 1199 and goes more vertical.

Here is a close up

Ah, there you go and couldn't really tell in the first set of pics. Wow, that's a close fit. Does the middle part rub on the subframe?

Thats interesting, as on the official Ducati images of the 1299 with the full DP Akra exhaust the longer silver spacers (same as for the full Akra for 1199 heat shield) are clearly visible...And the image of the heat shield and loop of the vertical cylinder from DP Akra you posted are looking identical to me in size to full Akra. Only difference seems to be a 5mm higher position of the heat shield due to the shorter spacers, but where should be the space for a bigger/longer/more vertical loop?

Those pics also have the warning or advisement that "These pictures are for illustrative purposes only and does not/may not reflect the final product you receive" bit. ;)

Not sure why the photos shows the longer spacer but i was at the ducati dealer today i saw a 1199 there with a 1199 full Akrapovics there and we compared the two and its clearly visible that the 1299 loop is longer and looks larger in diameter although we didnt take calipers to it.

From annother image Raaseri postet here from his 1299S with DP full Akra, you can also see the longer siver spacers, and the heatshield looks as the pipe loop not different to me compared to the full Akra for 1199, both should have 60 mm in diameter. Maybe you can measure the loop pipe diameter of your 1299 DP full Akra....
