Anyone have any useful information on this? I just bought a 2021 v4 and live 550 miles away from the closest dealership! I do NOT want to drive that far too get a stupid light reset after i do my first oil change! Thanks!

I think you have to...I've not known any dealership other than official Ducati service centers to be able to reset the light. They cannot even reset it early...Subscribed if you find a way!

I am amazed at the amount of knowledge in this forum; very helpful and thank-you for sharing.

If you read that whole quoted thread I believe the end result is that you canNOT reset the service light with that tool unfortunately.

I don't think anyone has found a way to do this to date.

I'm able to do it with a Texa IDC5 loaded on a Axone 2. Texa writes the factory software for Ducati.

Where did you buy it? Looks like $3,500 for the latest software and tablet. Is that about what you paid?

I am in the similar boat. Had the header put on a header and while at it, I had them do Samco hoses, all fluid flushes (excluding coolant). So now, the annual service light is on unrelated to the previously mentioned. It just came on since I got the bike in April of last year. The mileage on it was about 6k.

Reading on the 7500mi/annual service, it is pretty much covering the same exact things my work order covered; considering the extensive disassembling process the header instal requires, it probably ended up being more than the service itself entails anyway.

I will ask for the light reset, but in the same time, I do need a chain check up so instead of $450 quoted for the annual service, a simple work order for the chain tensioning and so on will be worth their while. And mine as well.

Doesn’t the OFT tuner have the ability to do this?

Cutting Edge is the US distributor for Texa. The IDC5, Axone 2, and cables came to $5700 plus a yearly software/support fee.

snap on p1000 will do it i have one. also can do cars, you can find them used for about 2k. keep checking ebay for one

Just realized I’m in the pani group, what I said above is the case for the sfv4. I am not sure about the pani.

I'd encourage anyone looking at this to google Texa vs P1000 before buying.

I heard the Brentune Device can Reset the Light is this NOT correct?... im about 30 days out from a Oil chg and ive already completed the oil change.. I was hoping to use my Brentune device to reset it.....

No, as I understand it, there are only a handful of tools capable of resetting the service lights. Snap-On and Texa are two I know for certain will. I just ordered the Texa Axone Nemo 2.
